Three year olds have an incredible imagination! Braelyn has recently adopted a few imaginary friends. I only know one of their name's...Harry Potter. Go figure. :o)
Today, Braelyn walks into the bathroom while I'm getting ready with her babydoll in the stroller. She asks for a bow so that she can make her baby pretty. I reach into the drawer and hand her a few different hair accessories. Her response to all of them was, "No, that's too big."
I got a little frustrated because she didn't want to take anything I had to offer, so I reach into the drawer and grab a big piece of AIR. I handed her this imaginary bow. Braelyn got the biggest smile on her face, and said, "Thank you, Mommy!" She put the fake bow on her baby and told her how pretty she looked.
Here's hoping this trend continues...maybe we can have some imaginary presents for Christmas. Ha!
